As we come to the end of another school year I would like to thank and acknowledge everyone who has supported our school throughout the year. Our school community consists of dedicated and supportive families and friends, Fr. Dominic, staff and students. Together we have achieved many successes and worked to provide a safe and caring learning environment for all.
Every person who works in our school is an educator. Throughout the year the work of everyone in our school community has influenced and supported our children. Each staff member has provided a listening ear, has been a mentor, a counsellor, a guide and a role model to all of our children while on their learning journey.
Throughout this very different and challenging year we have been blessed with an amazing staff family. Every day they have given to the students in their care, our families and to each other. I want to thank each and every staff member for their care and concern for all members of our school community, particularly our students and their fellow staff members.
As we celebrate Advent, the time where we wait and look forward to the coming of Christ to Earth, let us remember what the Christmas season is all about. Christmas is the time for Love, Hope, Joy and Peace, a special time for us to enter into God's presence and to receive the gift of His Son, Jesus. As we teach our students, let all of our words and actions bring the love of God to our families and friends and to all those we meet.
Each term we share with each class an assembly. Today we had the pleasure of attending Year 4/5/6 Assembly.

Mrs Whiting and Mrs Elwin had the pleasure of accompanying Year 6 students to Canberra this week. Students enjoyed our National’s capital and visiting many of the educational and interesting places in Canberra. In the 2 days in Canberra the students were able to visit Parliament House, National Museum, Cockington Green, Telstra Tower, War Memorial, Art Gallery and Zoo and Aquarium.
We are extremely grateful to Mr Rod Middleton and Mr Andrew McFadyen for accompanying us and helping to make the excursion so memorable.
Seasons for Growth Presentation
This Christmas, Lord, come to the manger of my heart.
Fill me with Your presence from the very start.
As I prepare for the holidays and gifts to be given,
Remind me of the gift You gave when You sent Your Son from Heaven.
The first Christmas gift, it was the greatest gift ever.
You came as a baby born in a manger.
Wrapped like the gifts I find under my tree,
Waiting to be opened, to reveal Your love to me.
Surround me with Your presence, Lord, I long to hear Your voice.
Clear my mind of countless concerns and all the holiday noise.
Slow me down this Christmas, let me not be in a rush.
In the midst of parties and planning, I want to feel Your hush.
This Christmas, Jesus, come to the manger of my heart.
Invade my soul like Bethlehem, bringing peace to every part.
Dwell within and around me, as I unwrap Your presence each day.
Keep me close to You, Lord. It's in Your wonderful Name I pray.
