Classroom Update

Kindergarten

Year 1/2

1/2 have been busy learning about the ‘bossy e’ and how the bossy e changes the vowel sounds in words. They have identified lots of new words that follow this spelling rule.

Year 3/4/5

During CMC Maths lessons in the 3/4/5 classroom we have been working hard each day to achieve mastery. Yesterday we all finished our work early and played a very intense game of First to 100. The aim of the game is to write the numbers to 100 while someone is rolling two dice to get doubles. As soon a double number is rolled it is then their turn to start writing. This game takes a lot of concentration to focus on what number you are writing while racing to get to 100 first. We had to pause the game yesterday and today we were able to see who would make it to 100 with our winners being Dave and Belle.

Year 6

Year six students would like to take the opportunity to thank each and every staff member for supporting, caring, guiding and loving each and everyone of us.

Mrs. Nicole: Thank you for providing us magical fairy dust (antiseptic dust) to help with our injuries, and always caring for our needs.

Mrs. Bec: Thank you for sourcing all the grants to help us learn and grow.

Mrs. Elwin: Thank you for making sure our spelling is at mastery during recess time.

Mrs. Morris: Thank you for teaching us the butt shuffle,

Mrs. Karli: Thank you always making us laugh and giving the gossip on Demi.

Mrs. Eryn: Thank you for making Library fun.

Miss. Shannon: Thank you for always reminding us to wear our HAT!

Mrs. Wheeler: Thank you for your kindness and generosity during art.

Mrs. Shaw: Thank you for your patience when teaching us computers.

Mrs. Fyfe: Thank you for your support.

Mr. T: Thank you for showing us how to prioritise money.

Mrs. Ashlea and Mrs. Haylee: Thank you for guiding the little Kinders.

Mrs. Brown: We miss you and wish you were in our class, thank you for being you!

Aunty. Sharon: Thank you for all ensuring we "move ourselves" in a promptly fashion.

Mrs. Golding: Thank you for all the movement breaks in 3/4/5 class.

Miss. Maddy: Thank you for help us grow.

Miss. Georgina: Thank you for always being organised.

Aunty Alisa: Thank you for always keeping our school clean and tidy.
