Winter has arrived! It's great to see students adapt to the change in temperature and dressing for the cold weather. We encourage families to check that all items are labelled. This is to ensure jumpers and hats find their owners at the end of the day.
Thanks to all who were involved in last weeks Mass and assembly. We look forward to our next Mass and assembly in Week 9. We held an impromptu achievement assembly this morning, acknowledging mastery with CMC and Spelling and Class Dojos. We also reminded students about the upcoming attendance rewards and 100s club lunch. We will determine attendance on this Friday for the Reward day and end of next week for the 100s club. Please check COMPASS on Monday to see if your child is invited to the Reward Day.
Reports will be available at the end of next week. Families will be invited to meet with Teachers early next term. Please remember that, except for Kinder, curriculum outcomes cover two years for each stage. This means that students in Years 1, 3 and 5 are only 6 months into their learning. With a grading scale of A - E, students receiving a C are exactly where they are expected to be. Semester One reports do not include comments. Kinder reports have a different reporting scale. Families will be notified when Family Meeting invites are available.
We wish our WR Athletes safe travels as they travel to compete in Young on Friday. Big thanks to Mrs Fyfe for her support and preparation of the students. We appreciate families being available to travel with their children for this event.
Please remember that Friday 4th July is a pupil free day!
