Principal's Report
As we move into December, the season of Advent begins. This is an important time for Christians the world over as we prepare for the birth of Jesus.
Both Lent and Advent are seasons of waiting, preparation, and penance. In Advent, we prepare for His birth. The birth and resurrection of Christ are intertwined, and their connection is quite significant. Advent is a uniquely joyous and hopeful season in the Church.
One of the best known symbols of Advent is the wreath and candles, which focus on the themes of Advent - Hope, Peace, Love and Joy.We light candles amidst the darkness. And we come together as friends and family to celebrate the coming of our Savior.
We will celebrate our school year in a special way with our Thanksgiving Mass and Presentation Evening on Monday 11th December. We warmly invite families to join with us as we acknowledge this year's successes and farewell our Year 6 students.
Please join us in the church on Monday 11th December at 6pm and we will continue in our school hall after a small break for food.
