Year 5/6 students have been preparing to be Confirmed. Part of their preparation involvedparticipating in a retreat day, learning about all seven sacraments and the scripture stories related to the sacraments, learning about the gifts of the Holy Spirit and looking at special people, including saints, who through their lives share these gifts with others.

 Fr Dominic celebrated the Confirmation Mass and the church was filled with family, friends, parishioners and the school community. At the conclusion of the Mass a Confirmation Cake, expertly made by Mrs Maddie, was cut to acknowledge how special this occasion was for the candidates and their families.

 We were very lucky to be able to celebrate this sacrament with the newly confirmed, their families and the parish. Mrs Elwin always feels privileged to be a part of the candidates journey towards this special celebration.
