Principal Report
It's been a funny old week with our Leadership class on their excursion. We have enjoyed seeing the photos of their adventures and look forward to hearing their stories. We are very grateful to Mrs Elwin and Mrs Fyfe for being on the job 24 hours a day since Monday and appreciate the support of Mrs Hayward, Mrs Brooks and Mr Morris, who also attended. Our families are great!
Our students have been busy! Years 3 and 4 participated in the Trent Barrett gala day on Tuesday. The teachers reported that they received many comments on the sportsmanship, respect and engagement displayed by our teams. Well done players! Thanks to Mrs Golding, Ms Karli, Miss Maddie and Ms Kate for attending and supporting our students. Many thanks also to Mr Yagnik, for assisting with transport and supervision. I'm pretty sure Kinder, Years 1 and 2 enjoy this day, being the bosses of the school!
Congratulations to our Year 3 and 4 students, who have displayed outstanding leadership skills. They have led assemblies, completed arvo jobs and looked after the smaller students in the playground. The future is looking bright!
Thanks to our SFX Communities for supporting our Book Fair and Farm Door fundraisers. We will provide an update in our next newsletter.
Few reminders for follow up - please book a time for Families meetings. These are occuring next Tuesday. Bookings can be made through Compass or by contacting the school office. We have a Cleaning position available, if you or anyone you know are intersted, please contact the School Office for more information.
