NAPLAN 2022
NAPLAN is a national literacy and numeracy assessment that students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9 sit in May each year. It is the only national assessment all Australian students do. As students progress through their school years, it’s important to check how well they are learning the essential skills of reading, writing and numeracy. NAPLAN assesses the literacy and numeracy skills that students are learning through the school curriculum and allows parents/carers to see how their child is progressing against national standards and over time.
Our Year 3 and Year 5 students will sit these assessments over the next 2 weeks. The agenda for these assessments is as follows:-
Tuesday 10th May - Year 5 Writing
Wednesday 11th May - Year 3 Writing
Thursday 12th May - Year 3 and Year 5 Reading
Friday 13th May - Catch up day
Monday 16th May - Year 5 Conventions of Language
Tuesday 17th May - Year 3 Conventions of Language and Year 5 Mathematics
Thursday 19th May - Year 3 Mathematics and Catch up if needed
