This year I hope to work with Year 6 Yibaay students in successfully striving for excellence; and preparing students for their future at high school. This can be seen through a happy, inclusive environment that supports students' overall learning, health and wellbeing. I believe when students are happy and comfortable in their environment, they're engaged positively and effectively in their academics.

Hello Parents

I hope you and your family had a lovely holiday break. This year I will be teaching ICT and taking RFF for the teachers.  Students will be doing a variety of computer and STEM lessons.

On Wednesday I will be on Year 6, and we will be using technology in a variety of ways. This will include some homework with projects.  We will be using a T4L magazine on technology and this comes with an array of activities for students to learn different aspects of research, design and application using different platforms. The first novel we will be reading is "The List" by Patricia Forde.

As well as learning to program using the Grok platform to further enhance their skills. part of the day Wednesday we will be doing Genius Hour, this is when students can research, design or make something of their choice.
