Principal's Report
The last couple of weeks have seen the following -
- our school run the successful Small Schools Athletics Carnival with the assistance of many amazing staff and parents. Congratulations to the students that will represent our school at the Western Region Athletics Carnival in Tumut this Friday. Thank you to the families that will support this opportunity. We wish Leigha, Jay, Sophie, Haydn, Rose, Beau, Sasha, Jayden B, Matilda, Ivy and Aiden safe travels and a successful day.
- Year 5/6 students competing in the Mortimer Shield competition in Griffith - again thank you to Mrs Carter, Miss Ashlea, Miss Maddie and Miss Kelly for organising and supporting this event. Special thanks to Tony Hayward for the assistance given on the day.
- Miss Corcoran and Mrs Carter attending The Resilience Project Conference in Sydney. We appreciate the extra time and effort given by our staff to learn more and support this initiative in our school for our community.
- Lake Learning Links coaching session - this is our final year of funding so we are looking to ensure our Transition improvements continue and as a learning community with the other local schools we continue to work to support families and students as they transition in their education.
- Spelling Mastery in our 3-6 classes is seeing students improve their spelling skills. A couple of groups are getting ready to move onto the next program. We are extermely proud of our Super Spellers!
