Classroom Update
Kindergarten and Year 1/2
Kinder and 1/2 had a special class with Mr K last week. They looked at a map of Australia and talked about the various places around Australia. They then zoomed in a little bit and talked about the places we had in Lake Cargelligo and what our school looked like from a birds eye view. The students then got to create their own birds eye views of a place that was special to them and most of the students either picked their house, farm, or a family members farm. While creating their own birds eye views, the students were able to engage in lots of conversations about the things that needed to be included in their drawings.
Year 3/4/5
Funday Fridays - Year 3/4/5 and year 1/2 have been enjoying Friday picnics for fruit break together. Last week we enjoyed visiting the year 1/2 classroom for fruit break. We helped them with their work, read some books and did a movement break with a dance before returning to our classroom.
