Little First Aiders

This term Stage Two and Three students participated in the Little First Aider online program to learn how to administer care and support through first aiding.

The Little First Aiders eLearning platform provides fundamental first aid education to primary school students right across NSW through a range of videos, games, and interactive activities.

Stage Two program provides students with the following information - 

- Recognising an emergency,

- Calling triple zero in the event of an emergency,

- Provide awareness and skills required to manage someone bleeding and how to clean a wound

-Recognise and treat someone suffering from shock

Stage Three program provides students with the following information - 

  • Recognising an emergency
  • Calling triple zero in the event of an emergency
  • Provide awareness and skills required to manage someone bleeding and how to clean a wound.
  • Recognise and treat someone suffering from shock.

All students of stages Two and Three have practiced many practical skills of DRSAB. This includes:

Students also had the opportunity to explore the recovery position. Which they performed on each other, and completed exceptionally well.
