Congratulations to Leigha Brooks 

 Leigha travelled to Canberra this week to compete in the Archdiocesan Athletics Carnival. Leigha competed in 3 events; 

• 11 years 100 metre dash - placing 10^th with a time of 15.68 seconds (less than a second behind the winner)
• 11 years 200 metre dash - with a time of 34 seconds
• 11 year High Jump - placing 2^nd - jumping 1.30m

This second placing means Leigha has qualified to compete in the MacKillop Athletics Championships in Sydney on Monday 18th  of September.

 We are so very proud of Leigha and thank her family for the support given to enable Leigha compete at this level!
